Spectator FAQ's

What are the Classic Bike Festival Ireland Opening times?

For weekend spectator tickets Friday 2nd from 6pm through to Sunday at 6pm. For Saturday or Sunday 7am to 6pm the same day.

Is there camping?

Yes, camping is available both hard standing for campers and caravans and a grass area for tents, but only with a weekend spectator ticket. Access to camping areas is from 6pm Friday 2nd and leaving before 7pm on Sunday 4th. Again in 2024 camping is free with the weekend ticket.

If I have a spectator ticket can I leave the circuit and return?

Yes, you will be issued with a wristband, these must be worn at all times, the wristband will allow you re entry.

Is there car parking and what is the cost?

Yes, car parking is free with all spectator tickets. If sleeping in your car/van you must purchase a weekend spectator ticket.

Can I camp for one night only?

Yes you can camp Saturday night only but must have a weekend spectator ticket. Friday night only camping is not available.

Is the electric hook-up in the camping areas or can I bring a generator?

There is no electric hook up in the camping areas, you can bring a generator but this must be turned off between 11pm
and 8am

How much are the programmes?

Souvenir programmes are free with all spectator tickets.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, however dogs must be kept on a lead at all times if outside you vehicle or camper/ caravan.

What time does racing start each day?

On Saturday from 9:00 am to 5pm and on Sunday from 9:00 to 4:30 pm

Will Giacomo Agostini ontrack and if so what times?

Yes, he will be riding on track in our Ulster Grand Prix Winners parade at 12:30 Sat & Sun

Are children allowed and if so what price for their admission?

Yes all children are most welcome, because motorcycling is a dangerous sport they must be accompanied by a parent. Under 16’s are free with an accompanied parent.

What facilities are at Bishopscourt?

Multiple toilets, showers and for our Festival from Friday catering, coffee truck and a bar will be available.

Is it possible to volunteer at the Festival?

Yes, we’re always looking for people to help the running of the Festival. Contact info@classicbikefestireland.com and ask for
more info.

Rider FAQ's

I’d like to take part on track what can I enter?

If you have a current MCUI or ACU race licence you can enter to race or parade.

or

If you have a current full motorcycle road licence
or have raced previously you can take part in the parades only.

I have a race licence and want to race, and/or possibly parade as well how do I do this?

Go the entry form section, read the regulations and decide what race and/or parade classes you want to enter, complete the online entry form, pay online and we’ll confirm your entry. You can also download, print and post (or scan and email) the form back to us, and pay by cheque or paypal.

I’d like to take my classic bike on track, how do I do this?

Go the entry form section, read the regulations and decide what parade classes you want to enter, complete the online entry form, pay online and we’ll confirm your entry. You’ll also need a one event parade licence which you will get issued with on the day. You can also download, print and post (or scan and email) the form back to us, and pay by cheque or paypal.

Please read the regulations especially in relation to safety and clothing/helmets.

Clubs - Traders - Display Bike FAQ's

I’ve got a business and would like to go to the Festival and sell my products or services, what do I do next?

Please email info@classicbikefestireland.com - let us know what you’ve got in mind and we’ll take it from there. Again in 2024 there is no charge for traders. More information in the Entry Form Section of the website.

I’m in a motorcycle cluband we would like to attend as a club, how do we go about this?

Please email info@classicbikefestireland.com - let us know more about your motorcycle club and how many members and bikes you want to bring over the weekend. We’ll probably be able to offer your club a discounted rate on weekend spectator tickets as well as a great space to display your machines. More information in the Entry Form Section of the website.

I’ve got a motorcycle I’d like to display a the festival, how do I go about this?

Please email info@classicbikefestireland.com - let us know more about your motorcycle and we’ll take it from there. Free admission may be granted to those bikes that we feel will contribute best to the festival. The more information you  can give us in respect of what bikes you want to bring the better for us to help you. More information in the Entry Form section of the website.
